Think all catnip is the same? It’s not!
Catnip grows like many herbs – with a long stem, many leaves, and at the very top there are are blooms of buds and flowers. The natural oil in catnip plant that cats go crazy for is Nepetalactone, and it is highly concentrated in the little bell shaped flowers of the catnip plant.
In most catnip sold, the entire plant is chopped up, dried, and blended together. This means that the flower buds, which is the part cats love the most, are only a small amount the total mix with the rest being mostly the leaves and stems. That’s not true with ours!

Fred is usually uninterested in catnip… but he might like this. He doesn’t go bonkers over it, but he is attracted to wherever I put it. He usually just lays on top of the pile. That’s more than I’ve gotten out of him before.
This compared to big box store bought catnip it honestly may not even be the same plant. Way more interesting to my cats

So far, this seems to be the best catnip I’ve found. My cat knocked over the tube with excitement and got seriously high.
My cats LOVED this catnip, much better then store bought stale catnip, they both were purring, playing and rolling around in it for hours…The packaging is super cute and creative too, my whole family got a big laugh about it, will certainly order more and try the other products soon!!
