A tin of super potent mix of catnip and silvervine powders to bring life back into those old and boring toys. Use it like a dry rub and put a small pinch on a favorite toy, scratching post, or wherever you want to encourage your cat to play. The scent of powder acts like a supercharged catnip that encourages your cat to find new interest and play!

What does it do and how does it work?

A 2017 scientific study found 70% of cats had a reaction to catnip and over 80% of cats had a reaction to silvervine, with many cats enjoying both!

Most cats react with kitten like behaviors such as playing with toys, rolling, rubbing, licking, or catching a case of the zoomies.
Other cats will react in more subdued way, becoming more relaxed and chilling out in a dreamlike state.
Use a small pinch on a favorite toy, scratching post, or wherever you want to encourage play.

How is it Made?

We use only natural highly potent catnip farm grown in the USA for our powdered catnip.
Although relatively unknown in Northern America, the silver vine is more popularly used in Japan and China than traditional catnip among cat owners! We finely grind up the hard fruits of this plant (Actinindia Polygama) to create our silvervine powder.

What’s in the tin?

The large resealable tin contains 28g (2 fl oz) of the powder blend
Effects usually last anywhere from 5-30 minutes
Cats usually begin to respond when they are past 6 months of age though some may sooner

I emailed them with some questions and they were so knowledgeable, and even gave me help with things I asked that had nothing to do with their products but about my cat in general. You can definitely tell they have a passion for all things cat. The owner said they worked as a groomer and in veterinary practice before this, and that knowledge really shines. I ultimately decided to try this after a few different suggestions, and it worked perfectly to help get my new foster out of his shell.

One thing that stood out to me right away was the tin closure — it twists *and* clicks on, so there’s no risk of a powder explosion when you put pressure on the lid! This was something I disliked about a tin I ordered from MJ a couple years ago, so I love that they improved the design. My cats can’t knock it open now either. As for the powder itself, it’s fresh and pleasantly fragrant. You really don’t need much at all to get kitties crazy! The equivalent amount of dried herbs makes a much bigger mess and is harder for a vacuum to pick up, so this is a great choice for the time, price, energy, and storage. The only downside is that the powder is so fine it can cause the cats to sneeze if they sniff it before I rub it into a toy. It might also discolor lighter fabrics, so color-test first. I’m absolutely buying again, though!

AMAZING. WOULD BUY AGAIN! Better than any store bought catnip and I love that it is concentrated and way less messy than the whole loose leaf catnip I had to keep sweeping up.

Wow ! Pleasantly surprised ! My kitty does not like strong smells and i have tried many brands of catnip . She loves this one !! One small pinch and she is activated ! I used a lot of it and there is so much still left . Amazing quality and will last you a long time . Great for picky cats .
