A 3 pack of our dragonfly cat toys made from all natural materials and perfect for playing! Two differently sized matatabi sticks make up the body while the head is made from a silvervine fruit attached on a jute rope. The raffia (dried leaves from a type of palm plant) is threaded through holes the body to make up the wings. If your cat loves matatabi sticks, bugs toys, or just playing in general then they will love this!
The plant is native to the mountains Japan and China and grows like an ivy on trees and rocks. It is officially named Actinidia Polygama, but is commonly called Silver Vine for the distinctive color of its leaves.
Many cats react to Matatabi (the vine of the Silvervine plant) and the fruits of the plant even if they show little interest to catnip. A 2017 scientific study found 70% of cats had a reaction to catnip, however over 80% of cats had a reaction to silvervine, with many cats enjoying both!
While Matatabi/ Silvervine is slowly becoming more well known here in the United States, and is more popular in East Asia than traditional catnip!
I have three cats who absolutely love these Dragonfly chews. Over the decades I’ve spent so much money on cat toys, cat chews, cat-you-name-it, but none of them brings joy to my cats like this Dragonfly thing. My kitties chew on them and play with them literally every day.
All three kitties give it a 5 star rating. I highly recommend getting these for your cats.
I can never go wrong when I purchase something from Meowing Jane, both my cats love the catnip and toys. I bought these to discourage my kitten from chewing on the things she shouldn’t. So far so good. Only drawback is that I have to keep fishing them out from under stuff where they are batted.

Do not give to kittens!!!!!! Cats can pull the straw/grass from this toy. Our kitten managed to swallow one which is causing a host of medical problems. We’ve spent $1800 at the vet so far!!
