A flea comb is the right choice to comb out fleas, or any other debris that may be in your cats coat. It is great for all coat types!
Why is it important to brush your cat?
– Brushing helps to prevent hairballs
– Great for bonding and relaxation for you and your cat
– Regular brushing reduces shedding
– Removing loose hair helps pet to regulate body temperature- cooling them in the summer and keeping them warm in the winter
– Brushing your cat regularly from the time it is young gets them used to being handled and touched
– Helps skin/coat to distribute skin oils, preventing flakes and keeping coat shiny
– Less hairballs around your house and hair on the furniture (and your clothes!)
Brush with the grain, concentrate on one area at a time. If your cat becomes over stimulated or tired of being brushed, it’s best to discontinue brushing and resume at another time. You want brushing to be a positive, enjoyable experience for your cat! Even if you are only able to brush for a few minutes at a time, it’s still beneficial, and you can always build up to longer as your cat begins to enjoy your grooming sessions!

Got this as part of the box set. I never used a flea comb before because I thought it was just for fleas. My old man has recurring problems with dandruff and always looked a little unkept. this comb actually helps me to remove some of that flaky skin. He’s already looking a million times better. Easily my favorite brush in the box, and I probably never would have tried it if it didn’t come in the set.
